SI International President, Yvonne Simpson and International Director of Advocacy-Elect, Bev Bucur were privileged to visit the SI Eldoret’s Rescue Centre project in Kenya on the 15 June 2017. The Centre rescues abandoned children from living on the street.

The CCPCJ side event sessions on violence against women – “The Collection of Data on Gender-Related Killing of Women and Girls: Promising Practices” and “The Special Event: Establishing Femicide Watches in Every Country in the World” were informative and well attended reflecting keen interest from governments and civil society.
